“Drive Like a Boss” is the ultimate shorthand for effortless competence. To do something “like a boss” means doing it with genuine skill and confidence and that is exactly what every learner aspires to achieve.
At Drive Like a Boss, we believe learning to drive is about more than just passing a test; it’s about preparing you for a lifetime on the road. Whether it’s your first solo motorway drive or a road trip with friends, our goal is to ensure you are equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to handle any journey with ease.
Our Story
Drive Like a Boss was launched in Bedfordshire in 2021 by Donna who had previously established Duke & Duchess Driving School. What began as a team of 20 instructors has grown rapidly; by 2026, we’re proud to have a network of more than 70. A huge part of that growth comes from within — our training programme has now supported nearly 80 ADIs to fully qualify and start a new career.
Back in 2021, we had just two automatic instructors. Today, we’re close to 20, spread across multiple regions, including our first fully electric training car.
Our team is wonderfully diverse, too. We are incredibly proud to have 27 female instructors, eight husband‑and‑wife partnerships, and even a father working alongside his two sons. It’s fair to say that Drive Like a Boss really is one big driving‑school family.

Young Drivers & Schools
We work with schools to help young people understand the behaviours and risk‑taking factors that can lead to accidents, giving them the awareness they need long before they turn 17. Education and understanding are the foundation of becoming a reflective, responsible driver, and we believe this learning should begin well before formal lessons start at 17 years old.
We’ve partnered with a number of schools and colleges to create tailored packages that include interactive workshops, impactful videos exploring the consequences of poor driving decisions, and hands‑on opportunities for younger teenagers to experience a driving school car before they reach the legal driving age.
We also offer a young driver programme that offers 16-yr olds the opportunity to book a FREE off road driving experience with one of our instructors.
